How to Correct or Update a CSD Registration

Review company, banking, tax, contact and commodity information when a CSD supplier record is incorrect.

Central Supplier Database information being reviewed

A CSD record can become unreliable when information changes or does not agree with source records. Identify the affected field and its verification source before updating it.

Common information to review

  • Company and director details
  • Bank account verification
  • Tax information
  • Addresses and contacts
  • Commodities and service categories
  • B-BBEE information

Match the source record

Some CSD information is verified against CIPC, SARS, banks or other institutions. A source-record problem may need to be corrected before the CSD result changes.

Keep the updated report

After completing the update, check the supplier status and save the latest CSD registration report with the company’s supplier file.

Important

Requirements and processing times depend on complete documents, system availability and the relevant authority. This general information is not an official verification of your company’s status.
